TRUK LAGOON

In truk we have partnered up with Blue Lagoon Dive Store and Resort to be able to offer the technical rebreather and open circuit diver the highest level of support you can get.

We own 34 sets of rebreather tanks, 60 deco stage cylinder set ups, a ton of sorb, helium, and high pressure O2. Many sets of isolated manifolded twins.

We also have GPS locations of ALL the wrecks and sounders to assist with finding the deeper, harder to get to wrecks. This equipment help get us onto wreck sites in minimal time.

We carefully select the right training and experience on all boats, with a max of 6 per boat, and 1 boar per wreck. That way if you want to do a 4 hour run time on the wrecks - we plan for it!!!!

We really try to cover most gear converns making life easier for the breather diver and tech diver to come diving with the least hassles!

We are also working on 2 scooters (Halcyon R14) to be in truk for hire

MEDICAL SUPPORT

Because of the extended range diving that gets done with increased bottom times and decompression diving there is always an increased risk of divers suffering from diver related injuries. We have made it our policy to maintain the highest level of safety on all of our trips. For that reason we have world class Hyperbaric Physicians who come on all our trips. We also carry our own extensively stocked medic kits to cater for such emergencies.

Truk Lagoon has a fantastic recompression chamber only 5 minutes away from Blue Lagoon Dive Resort but the medical facilities are extremely sparce on the island. Our Physicians are authorised to proceed with treatments when ever needed without having to go through a lengthly process to get treatment endorsed.

BIKINI ATOLL

Working hand in hand with the only operator that takes people out to Bikini - Indies Trader we have, again, spared no expense on ensuring that you have all the gear, and safety equipment necessary to enjoy yourself diving some of the best wrecks on the planet.

FULLY geared up for Breather divers we own, 12 sets of breather tanks (6 x 2l and 6 x 3l steels) and an additional 6 sets of ali 19cf tanks. We also have 10 x 40cf stage deco tanks so they are nice and streamlined. O2 Gen plants, Boosters, 2 x helium and O2 analysers the works. There are also 12 x sets of isolated manifolded twins for the open circuit divers too. Surface suppled O2 for deco.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

Indies Trader has purchased a fully operational 48" twinlock reco chamber which lives onboard the Winward. This is fantastic, but without skilled medical personel (hyperbaric physician) to medically manage a patient and take responsibility for the welfare of that patient, it makes things extremely difficult to manage.

Without medical personnel onsite to manage a sick diver and care for that patient, DAN cannot manage treatment remotely. So with this L4R diving excursions take a Hyperbaric Physician onboard with us on ALL trips with a fully kitted emergency medical kit. It is for your personall safety and well being.

On all of our trips we schedule, we have all the appropriate gear. 2 x 5.5cfm High Pressure compressors blending capabilities, booster, O2, Helium, breather tanks you name it.

Because we have an active EMS available in NZ and an airborne emergency helicoptor (Westpac rescue helicoptor) we do not need to carry doctors on our local trips. But have an extensive medic kit along with emergency O2 kit available at all times.
